Executive Team

marblemedia’s scripted division develops a wide range of projects from gripping 1-hour dramas and cable half-hours, to family comedic dramas and sitcoms; and dramas, sci-fi, adventures and comedies for teens and kids. We seek to empower artists to tell great stories with unforgettable characters and powerful themes. These stories connect people through emotion and celebrate diversity.

The unifying thread through all of these projects is strong, diverse, character-driven stories that, while exciting and entertaining, embody a sense of optimism. Working with best-in-class writers, creators, authors and partners, the team seeks to captivate audiences with powerful and empowering stories that entertain and engage audiences.

A well-known leader in kids and family programming from its beginning, marblemedia knows what a kids world looks like and how to bring that world to life on screen in exciting ways that resonate with audiences.

One of the best in the business at delivering live action, unscripted and competition original formats for young audiences, marblemedia’s creativity and expertise have also led them to the production of award-winning kids scripted content, and made them a go-to partner for broadcasters and partners seeking hit programming for preschool, kid, teen and family audiences.  >

marblemedia’s unscripted division works with global digital platforms and broadcasters to create premium reality competition, entertainment, lifestyle, specialist factual, game shows and original formats. Partnering with format rights owners to adapt new series for a North American audience is also a pillar of the company’s business.

marble’s original competition series Blown Away launched on Makeful in Canada and on Netflix globally in 2019 to critical success. It garnered attention from the New York Times, The Guardian, the Washington Post and Time Magazine, being described as “breaking the reality show mold” and  “the best new creative contest since RuPaul’s Drag Race”, as well as earning millions of impressions on social media.

Following the success of Blown Away, marblemedia announced the production of Landscape Artist of the Year Canada, a take on the popular British TV format created by Storyvault Films, and All-Round Champion, based on the Emmy-Award winning NRK format.  Landscape Artist of the Year Canada will premier on Blue Ant Media’s Makeful channel and CBC in early 2020. All-Round Champion will air on TVO and Knowledge Network in Canada, and on BYUtv in the US in March 2020.

The team is actively creating and seeking big, bold ideas, talent and partnerships that present fresh twists, great stories and compelling characters. >
