Bell Media Announces English and French-Language Original Programming Orders and Renewals for 2021/22 Season

TORONTO (June 10, 2021) – Bell Media confirmed today a robust Canadian content lineup of more than 75 titles for its 2021-22 season, featuring orders of new original series, documentaries, and specials. Fueling English and French-language services across Bell Media properties, and produced in partnership with independent production partners and Bell Media Studios, the new orders and series join a strong roster of award-winning returning shows, and can’t-miss documentaries and specials.

New English-Language Series:

A CUT ABOVE – Discovery From the producers of BLOWN AWAY, this brand new cutting-edge competition series features twelve of the best chainsaw wielding carvers form across North America turning ordinary logs into intricate works of art. In each episode, the carvers face two time sensitive challenges to test their skills and creativity: a Quick Carve that tests their technique and the functionality of the carved piece followed by an elaborate, high-stakes themed Main Challenge to help decide who advances and who goes home. Throughout the series, competitors are mentored and judged by a panel of highly respected Master Carvers.
