Survival in the world of competitive sand sculpting requires expert skill, creative vision, intense physical stamina and the patience to work in unpredictable elements. In Race Against the Tide, we meet 10 of the world’s best sand sculpting duos and throw down a challenge unlike any other: create showstopping sculptures at New Brunswick’s iconic and beautiful Bay of Fundy, where the world’s largest tides will flow in to wash away their sculptures in very little time.

Hosted by Shaun Majumder, each episode features these two-person teams of highly-skilled sand sculptors competing to create extraordinary works of art made entirely out of sand while avoiding elimination.

The stakes have never been higher in the world of sand sculpting as the competitors must race against Mother Nature’s clock. Their creations — no matter how impressive — are all destined to be washed away in a few short hours.

In the end, only one team whose skill, creativity and tenacity leaves a lasting impression will be crowned the Race Against The Tide champions.
